Baritone (Mysterium Mastigos)
Baritone can be recognized by his skulking, nervous manner. He dresses in dreary colours and seems to lack the simplest social graces. He is secretive and fearful. All-in-all, he seems the complete opposite of what a Mastigo should be. There is only one circumstance that he seems to shed his deep-seated social anxiety: that is the midst of one of his rants. His public rants usually fall under three categories. The first type of rant is his research. He loves to read and research and is eager to discuss his studies into Middle-Eastern and Andalusian magic, so long as you don't ask him to disclose a secret he's unearthed. The second type of rant relates to how much he dislikes the unenlighted masses of the Unawakened. Casual observers might wonder what it was exactly that chiseled that chip on his shoulder. The last rant subject is his regret at having chosen Mastigo as a path. Indeed, he seems to show other Mastigos the same disdain and condescention he shows the Unawakened. But if he hates his path so much, why does he seem so confident that he is going to ascend? In his downtime, you may find Baritone at a Library trying to ignore you. |

Erromanes (Mysterium Thyrsus)
Dressed in the fashions of your local street person, Erro can be found at local coffee shops or the Friendship Inn when she’s not with her cabal. She’s often seen with cabal-mate Hypsipile. She seems to talk to herself, but if anyone asks, she’ll say she’s responding to the spirits. It’s best to take note of what she says as her nonsensical demeanor yields truths that might be hidden if one aren’t listening carefully. |

Sentinel Priest (Adamantine Arrow Obrimos)
Priest is a man approaching middle age. He tends to be quiet, and takes a while to get comfortable with new people. He is of average height, has a heavier build. He has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. His Shadow Name is a somewhat ironic reference to the life he has turned his back on. Despite losing his faith in the religion that he was brought up to adore, he now cherishes the name for what it represents - a spiritual leader, anchor, councillor, and at times of crisis, a defender. Priest's background also was influenced by the military. He saw combat in Afghanistan in 2002, and is often haunted by memories of that place. Because of his experiences there he tends to avoid crowds and noisy areas, preferring to meditate and commune in solitude and silence. Priest is fiercely loyal to his brother and sisters in his cabal. They have been through a great deal of grief together and Priest has grown very attached to them. He will give his life in their defense without hesitation. |
