Life as one of the Awakened can be trying. Some Mages retire from enlightened society and become hermits, while others are simply fed up with one particular Consilium and move on to another. All too often, the Awakened run across deliemas that even they, with all the knowledge, can not solve and meet their end in some dark and forgotten place. One of the most frequent explainations for disappearances is no explaination at all...

Wintermute was a member of the Skeleton Key cabal. He was a tall individual with short, dark hair. Wintermute was a member of the Free Council and tried to maintain a friendly, if sarcastic demeanor. He much prefered drinking with good friends at a local pub and watching the game to politics and high-minded drama, though he was sometimes be a troublemaker. Wintermute tried to ensure the continued safety and happiness of Morelle and Lyre in even the small things, as they had been friends for many years.

Wintermute's mangled corpse was found at the site of the Consilium gathering April 14th, 2007 - his heart ripped out.

"I could tell you grand stories about my time as an Admantine Arrow but I’d mostly have to make them up. I’ve been an Arrow for a few years in that time I’ve helped my former master as much as I could. I’m now in Saskatoon to try to help out my new master. Joe’s was his early 30s and there wasn't really much about him that stood out. He dressed casually. He often carried an Ipod full of music. Joe was an outgoing fun guy to be around who didn't seem to take things too seriously. Unfortunately, he vanished in early April of 2007, and his fate has yet to be publiclly disclosed.
