WELCOME MITCH HAGGMAN!

Mitch Haggman, former Regina resident and member of Regina by Night has wised up and moved up to Saskatoon!  Consequently, I have managed to sucker… er… recruit him into helping out with the Saskatoon by Night Storytelling Team.  Welcome, Mitch!  Oh, he said if he started mentioning "I heard that idea in Regina once…", it means it's a bad idea.  ?  Quote from Mitch: "My bloody reign of terror has begun!  Just ask Kevin…"

FIREARMS AMMO CHANGE

After some discussion with various gun nuts and other ST's, we're decided that tracer ammo does NOT cause aggravated damage.  In order to do aggravated damage with firearms, it requires incendiary ammunition.

SBN POLICIES

Here are listed a few of the SbN policies that we've implemented.  Some of them are not new, per se, but should be re-stated:

Experience Points - Experience Points will be given out at the following month's main event.  Once they are given, they may be spent immediately.  Players should keep track of their own XP totals, as we do not always have the time to update the character database every month.

Character Sheets - All players are required to hand in a copy of their character sheet at the beginning of the evening of the main SbN event.  Any XP expenditures should be hi-lighted on the character sheet.  For ANY main event or scene, if you do not have your character sheet, you are not there.

Character Badges - All players should have a badge describing with the character's name, status, and prestige, as well as any distinguishing physical traits or anything else that should be universally known.

Equipment Cards - You should have equipment cards for all special pieces of equipment that a character has (mainly weapons and magical items).  If you do not have the card with you or lose the card, you no longer have that piece of equipment.

CHARACTER AND INFLUENCE UPDATES

Over the next while, I am going to be doing a whole shwack of character updates, mostly in regards to influence.  I'm trying to map out all of the influences out in the city, so if you get a deluge of email from me asking about character stuff, don't be scared, it's just me trying to make order out of chaos.

SBN REVISED

We've all gotten a chance to try the Laws of the Night Revised rules set.  Now it's time to clarify and expand on a few points.  To this end, I will be putting together a short document on the clarifications to commonly asked SbN questions and house rules.  Expect it out sometimes… oh… in 2000.
