We are always interested in Narrators to help out with different parts of running the game. You do have to put aside your regular character for your term as Narrator, though.

Here we are with a short newsletter this month, and (a happy coincidence, I think) my first attempt at authoring one. First, everyone take a few seconds to congratulate David Hutton on his months of hard work on the Star Kleonix. Thank-you, David! In addition, I’d like to thank Amy and Randy for the help they’ve given with the Vampire game. Finally, there are 5 points directly relating to the game that I’d like to make:

1) Gaming nights. Our Elysium night continues to be held on the second-last Saturday of every month in Kirk Hall, until further notice. Every second Friday of each month continues to be host to a out of character/small scenes night, usually at the Campus Club Rooms. (Sorry ‘bout the mix-up with location last Friday, by the way).

2) It continues to be necessary for Storyteller permission to be given for ANY visiting characters. Usually, the ST will want to be present, so try to schedule ahead. None of us are likely to make it with less than 24hrs notice, and 3 days (at least) is preferable.

3) If any-one has ANY questions regarding the vampire game, please try and call me first. Amy has a full-time job and generally more real-life responsibilities than I, and Randy is swamped enough with werewolf stuff. I’ll get back to your phone or e-mail messages within AT LEAST 3 days, sooner if you tell me what time it is safe to phone in your phone message.

4) In September, I’ll have been ST-ing for one year. This means time for a break (I WANNA PLAY!!!). Please think about possible replacements for myself. As usual, new STs will be subject to approval by the players.

5) I will be re-instigating a week of ‘down-time’ during each month to help Randy with werewolves, as he is doing the same to help with Vampire. Down-time week is yet to be announced.
