Saskatoon, SK. – The hunt for Escapee Raymond Fowler is continuing stated Constable Justin Crowe of the Saskatoon Police Force. In February, Fowler was one of several inmates to escape from the Regina Penitentiary. In March, the city SWAT team surrounded Fowler in a house on west side. During the attempted capture Fowler fatally stabbed one Constable James Timmins of the SWAT team and escaped custody. Fowler is now believed to be responsible for two additional murders. Fowler appears to be targeting households with only one occupant. After murdering the occupant he takes up residence until he believes the police discover the disapperance. Crowe has stated that they currently believe Crowe to still be in the city and is likely holed up in a residential house. Saskatoon police warn that Fowler is extremely dangerous and should not be approached if encountered but are asking that if you know of anyone who has not shown up for work in the past week to contact immediately. The names of the two victims have been withheld at the request of their families.
